Dyer and quiltmaker

Quilts in this gallery are entirely or partially made from my own dyed cloth,

cotton and linen, and occasionally silk.

I particularly like the sheen and softer hues one can achieve when dyeing old linen damask.

Cotton and antique linen, under-painted, rope wrapped and over-dyed. Machine pieced and quilted.
